Already enrolled in EPIC-ND? Learn about next steps and how to support our research.

Families enrolled in the EPIC-ND project will be supported in one of two ways. You can read more about how we support families below. The type of support families receive will be randomly assigned by a member of our research team.

To help us better understand families’ lived experiences, will invite all families to complete some research questionnaires throughout the project.

You will have an opportunity to complete these questionnaires when you first enrol (baseline), 3-months after enrolling, 6-months after enrolling, and 12-months after enrolling in the project.

Families in the Community Linker plus Resource Pack group will be invited to share their feedback and experiences in semi-structed interviews at the beginning of the research project, 6-months after enrolling, and 12-months after enrolling in the project.

Families who partake in these interviews will be reimbursed a $40 Coles or Woolworths gift card for their time.

For each questionnaire completed, our team will reimburse families with a $20 Coles or Woothworths gift card. Families can be offered a total of $80 in Coles or Woolworths gift cards for completing all four questionnaires.

Families will also be entered into a raffle draw to win an iPad for completing any follow-up questionnaire (3-month, 6-month, and 12-month questionnaires) – with one entry into the raffle per every follow-up questionnaire completed.

Service providers will be invited to complete a short questionnaire to assess the acceptability of the EPIC-ND social prescribing intervention at 6-months and 12-months following commencement of the intervention at their study site.

We will invite service providers to share their expertise on the potential barriers and facilitators to the social prescribing intervention in focus groups throughout the research project.
