Assist All Hoops – Basketball NSW
The Assist All Hoops Program is a basketball program specifically designed for young people with an intellectual impairment, while mirroring Basketball NSW’s existing offerings.
The program offers participants the opportunity to participate at the grassroots level, builds capacity through upskilling parents, carers, and community members to coach and referee, and nurtures talent through a clear pathway.
Mini Blades Wheelchair Fencing
Para Fencing Program for Children aged 8-11 years. The Sydney Para Fencing Foundation runs a weekly training program, with sessions suitable for all. Trial and introduction sessions available.
Abilities Unleashed – Kids
Disability Sports Australia aim to connect Australians with disabilities to their local adaptive sport and recreational opportunities. The Activate Inclusion Sports Days is one program DSA delivers with partners to get more people with disabilities to be more active, more often.
Australian Museum: Autism and Sensory-friendly Mornings
Early Birds provides a reduced sensory, relaxed and supportive environment prior to the Museum opening to the wider public for the day. This can make visiting the Museum easier for autistic people and for those who have other access requirements, together with friends and families.
Museum of Contemporary Art Accessible Arts Program
Connect with contemporary art in one of our creative programs designed for children and young people with disability and access requirements. Children and young people are introduced to contemporary art through interactive and multi-sensory activities that promote personal connection to artworks. Programs include a gallery visit and studio session. Participants have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of materials and processes in telling their own stories.
Sony Disability Camps
The Children’s Holiday Camp Program is a unique respite program that sees high school and university students take on the responsibility for the care of children with disability, allowing their families to have a valuable weekend off.
Twinkle Star Performers
Specialised dance studio in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire that offers dance classes for individuals with special needs to learn to dance, exercise and have fun.
Sound Expression
Provides professional music therapy, lessons and group programs that help children and adults with neurodevelopmental or sensory needs build communication, emotional-regulation, motor and social skills

National online platform that helps children and young people (and their families) who are autistic or neurodivergent to find autism-friendly social activities, events and resources
