Local Area Coordinators (ACT)
For most people aged 7 years and older, an LAC will be their main point of contact for the NDIS. LACs will help people with disability to connect to supports, services and local activities and help participants to understand the NDIS, meet with participants to create their plan and explain how to make the most of it.

Early childhood early intervention (ECEI) partners are local organisations we fund to deliver the early childhood (ages 0-9) approach. Our early childhood partners have teams of professionals with experience and clinical expertise in working with young children with development delay or disability and their families.

Inclusion Australia is the national peak body for intellectual disability. They support individuals with an intellectual disability and their families through advocacy, information, and resources.

Disability Parking Spots
If your child has a disability permit and there is limited street parking on your street, you can contact your local council and discuss having a disabled spot added in front of your house. You will then be able to park here with your child’s disability permit.
