Australian Disability Enterprises (ADEs) employ people with disability in a supported working environment. They help you to work, develop new skills and participate in your community.

The Opening the Door project aims to support people with disability to achieve choice and control with their housing options. The project is for all people with disability regardless of their type of disability or age, and whether they are a participant in the NDIS or not. On the website you will find key resources that can assist you on your housing journey.

National Equipment Database for Assistive Technology
The National Equipment Database (NED) is a one-stop-shop for assistive technology and equipment. NED connects customers to suppliers and offers free and impartial information to help you find and choose your assistive technology needs.

Aids and Equipment Program
If you are a NSW resident and have a life-long or long-term disability you may be able to access equipment, aids and appliances from the NSW Government to help you live and participate in everyday activities.

Commonwealth Rent Assistance
If you are a Centrelink customer and pay rent, you may be eligible to receive rent assistance in addition to your payment.

Hearing Services Program, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
If you have hearing loss you may be able to access hearing supports and aids through the Hearing Services Program. There is also a special program called the NDIS Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) program for children aged 0–6 years who have just been diagnosed with a hearing problem.
